Adding warmth, tactility and character to a new-build apartment.

Working with a limited budget, T+T came up with simple ways to imbue the modern, airy space with layers of creative expression. Carefully selecting wall colours to compliment the light-filled rooms, combining graphic textures and surfaces, sourcing local artwork and up-cycling furniture pieces found at local flee markets. All with an intent to inject this home with a sense of comfort, quirkiness and low-key artful living.

The kitchen was built by Oak Studio, using surplus oak timber, stained to achieve a smoked wood finish. The artwork is by photographer Anders Siddhartha (No More Loneliness).
